Follow the instructions for automatic setup but, if the server name won't be detected automatically, use the following one for Outlook for Mac. If an automatic setup isn't working for you, mail clients can be set up manually. To configure it, follow the instructions in the Knowledge Base article How To Configure Directory Service In Outlook For Mac.
To perform Global Address List lookups, you need to configure Directory Service. depends on your Default Exchange Server (you can look it up on the HostPilot > Services > Mailboxes > Resources). It should be similar to where is your Exchange Proxy Server and west. Exchange 2010/2013: In HostPilot, navigate to Home > Exchange servers and settings > Set up email client > Outlook for Mac. If no Autodiscover record exists for the domain, Outlook 2011 will prompt you for the server name. Follow the instructions in the Knowledge Base article How To Configure Directory Service In Outlook For Mac. Important: you will still need to configure Directory Service to perform Global Address List lookups. Select the option Always use my response for this server and click Allow. You will get a prompt such as the one below. If an Autodiscover record is configured for the domain name, Outlook will determine settings automatically. 
Outlook will attempt to determine settings for the new Exchange account automatically.įor this step, the instructions depend on whether you have the Autodiscover record set up:

In the Accounts window, click the plus sign + in the lower left-hand corner and choose Exchange. Open Outlook and navigate to Tools > Accounts. Note: we recommend creating a new identity before setting up a new account. Use Outlook for Mac 2016/2019 instead to connect your Mac to the Exchange mailbox. 
It won't be possible to set up an account in Outlook 2011 on macOS versions 10.15 and later. Important: With the release of macOS 10.15 (aka Catalina), Apple has stopped supporting 32-bit applications.
